The reliability of water supply system is a critical factor in the development and the ongoing capability to succeed in life and people's health. Determining of its, with high certainty, for performance of water supply system is developed to ensure the sustainability of system. Reliability (Re) plays a great role in evaluation of system sustainability. The probability approaches have been used to evaluate the reliability problems of systems. The probability approach is failed to address the problems of reliability evaluation that comes by subjectivity, human inputs and lack of history data. This research proposed two models; I) traditional model: fuzzy reliability measure suggested by Duckstein and Shresthaand then developed by El-Baroudy; and II) developed model: fuzzy reliability-vulnerability model. The two models implemented and evaluation of water supply system by using two hypothetical systems (G and H). System (G) consists of a single pump and System (H) consists of a two parallel pumps. Triangular and trapezoidal membership functions (MFs) are used to investigate of the reliability measure to the form of the membership function. The results agree with expectations that the reliability of parallel component system {ReH (0.53)} is higher than the reliability of single component system {ReG (0.47)}. Moreover, the result by using fuzzy set reduces the effect of subjectively in process of decision-making (DM). The fuzzy reliability vulnerability is able to handle different fuzzy representations and different operation environment of system
In this study, the water evaluation and planning WEAP model was used to improve the Fallujah irrigation project with 63,000 hectares and an annual budget get 1,476 million m3/ yiod (2020-2021). The results showed the total Water used was 1,272 million m3/year and equaled 86% of Fallujah irrigation budget. The annual production was 524.4 million Kg/year for Fallujah irrigation, and total economic returns were 393.6 million $/year. The study outlined two scenarios for enhancing the irrigation system. The first scenario entailed implementing a sprinkler irrigation system for wheat and barley across all projects. This resulted in a production increase from 524.4 to 625.7 million kilograms per year and a corresponding rise in economic returns from 393.6 to 427.2 million annually. In the second scenario, a sprinkler system was adopted for wheat and barley and a trickle system for other crops. This approach led to production growth from 524.4 to 1164.9 million kilograms per year and a surge in economic returns from 393.6 to 559.4 million annually.
The city of Fallujah suffers from bad design in their network and it still dominated by the same pattern of the road and street network system that was produced by the previous stages of the development of the city, which is awaiting the necessary and appropriate solutions, which calls for planning to modernize the road network and streets in it that can accommodate the reality of the city’s condition and the proposed expansions for its subsequent urban growth. The transportation network in Fallujah city was chosen as a case study, the network was divided into roads and intersections, the evaluation included two main roads and eleven sectoral roads, eleven arterial roads, and twenty-five intersections. The network was evaluated in three stages, the first stage was traffic flow and service level, the second stage was evaluating the network in terms of road and intersections marking, while the third stage concerned with evaluating the network in terms of sustainability. The HCS 2010 program was applied to evaluate the first stage, while the second and third stages were evaluated based on the field survey. The results of the first stage showed that most parts of the network in the northern zone suffer from traffic problems and have a low level of service, while most parts of the network in the southern zone have a high service level and enjoy high traffic flow. Most parts of the network were suffered from bad marking, which causes many problems for the users of this network. Related to sustainability, we note a lack of interest on the part of designers or decision-makers. It was concluded that traffic solutions should be economically feasible for some parts of the network, which would lead to improving the network’s performance at the level of the three stages.
The increase in traffic volumes at intersections is one of the important problems that makes difficulties in the traffic movement then leads to traffic congestion in these facilities. The objective of the present study is improvement the traffic operation of the selected intersection (Al-Zeoat intersection) in Al-Ramadi city by analysis and evaluation this intersection and using accepted solutions to improve the traffic operation of Al-Zeoat intersection under local exist conditions and present a best proposal to enhance the performance at the intersection. To achieve these objectives, the traffic volumes data collection and geometric layout for Al-Zeoat intersection that required for the traffic and geometrical analysis were gathered manually, while SIDRA traffic program is used for the requirements of traffic analysis process.
The research evaluated the wastewater effluents , Two pump stations discharged directly without any treatment in AL-WARAR Canal in Ramadi City ,located in the southern bank of the Canal . These effluents collects the storm water from the residential area , the drainage open channel which bypassing by septic tanks of domestic wastewater , bypassing from septic tanks of domestic wastewater. Laboratory Tests out on (December 2010 to May 2011) for the Canal (upstream) , wastewater effluents, and Canal ( downstream) to determine the quality characteristics and the wastewater effects upon the AL-WARAR Canal . The results show an increase in almost concentrations of characteristics compared to the Iraqi Standards NO. (25 –B1) in (1967) of the conservation of water resources , where the Bio-chemical oxygen demand , chemical oxygen demand and Total Bacterial Count were increased by (11, 9.7 and 535) times respectively. According to the organic load , the wastewater effluents classified as low strength . This study shows that the value of the reaction constant rate (k1) and Reaeration constant rate (k2)were about (0.187/day) and (0.556 /day ) respectively . Two stations downstream were located to determine the wastewater effects upon the Canal , Dissolved Oxygen was measured and calculated by using (STREETER –PHELPS) equations , then Sag curve of AL-WARAR Canal was determined .In spite of that the wastewater effluent does not comply with the Iraqi Standards discharged into water resources NO. (25 –B1) in (1967) , AL-WARAR Canal still comply with the Iraqi standards (NO. 25-A1) in (1967) of the conservation of water resources by the effect of self-purifications.
Housing is one of the main concerns raising critical problems in the Kurdistan Region. Due to the fast growth of the urban population through the last period, the Kurdistan-Investment Board was ongoing in construction of effective amount of housing estates by investment companies. Due to the rapid increase in population, many housing estate projects neglected specific family requirements, with low commitment to housing standards, quality of dwellings, and the resident's lifestyles. This study investigates living space and services parts of dwellings in those estates, finding out the factors that direct residential satisfaction supported by fixing correlations among determinants of overall satisfaction. The adopted methodology consists of evaluation based on two steps, the first was by a technical assessment using checklist comparing spaces with Iraqi standards, while the second part was through survey of resident's satisfaction. Field data collection had consisted of a questionnaire list and data collection performed for five housing projects (10 types of dwelling units covered by eighty-three samples) selected in Erbil city. Then the questionnaire results were analyzed using the SPSS program using correlations, regression, and descriptive statistics. Low commitment to Iraqi Standards was obvious in most cases. Results also showed that dwellers were satisfied with their dwelling units in cases despite differences with Iraqi urban housing standards. For instance, in two bedrooms dwellings, areas of services were below the standard by 21% while the resident's satisfaction in this group varied between neutral and satisfied. It had been found a clear correlation between indicators of dwellings units’ spaces. The regression has shown that the indicators of the kitchen location's size and shape highly affected the householder's satisfaction. The descriptive statistics have shown the satisfaction level mostly been neutral in all projects. Finally, the study suggests some recommendations regarding dwelling units in addition to the need to amend the Iraqi standards of housing.
ORE addresses various kinds of losses associated with manufacturing system which can be targeted for initiating improvements. Evaluating ORE will is helpful to the decision maker(s) for further analysis and continually improves the performance of the resources. Overall Resource Effectiveness (ORE) encompasses seven factors are; performance, quality rate, readiness, changeover efficiency, availability of material and availability of manpower. In this research Job shop production of General Company for hydraulic industries, with focus on Damper and Tasks Factory (DTF)is tested as a case study for two of the most customer demand rear dampers (Samaned and Nissan). Data are collected and analyzed for years 2016-2017 to evaluate of ORE values. Results show that process performance factor among other seven factors have the less value causing the highest loss in ORE decrease. Where the highest ORE value is (58.6%) for Nissan and (69.3) for Samaned rare production. Also, time loss due to set up time is detected where it ranges from 3% to about 13% per month for the above mentioned two tested dampers. Results are generated employing Minitab Version 17, Quality Companion Version 3 soft wares. It is recommended to introduce SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies) concept that could decrease losses in set up time .Also improvements in maintenance programs are vital, and above all improving process performance values is essential by employing lean manufacturing that result in fast outcomes ,and TQM process improvement strategy for long term outcomes these two process performance strategies may enhance ORE values therefore, decrease losses, and consequently increase quality and productivity.
Satellites may provide data with various spectral and spatial resolutions. The spatial resolution of panchromatic (PAN) images is higher, but the spectral resolution of multispectral (MS) images is greater. There is Satellite sensors limitation for capturing an image with high spatial and spectral resolution, due to the hardware design of the sensors. Whereas many remote sensing, as well as GIS applications, need high spatial and spectral resolution. Image fusion merges images of different spectral and spatial resolutions based on a certain algorithm. It can be used to overcome the sensor's limitation and play an important role in the extraction of information. The standard image fusion approaches lose spatial information or distort spectral characteristics. Optimizations of fusion rules can overcome and degrade the distortions as the fusion core is the image fusion rules. In this paper, the Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) is used to find the optimal injection gain, as most distortions in image fusion are caused by the extraction and injection of spatial detail. Both qualitative and quantitative metrics were utilized to evaluate the quality of the merged image. The mentioned metrics that were used commonly for evaluation of image fusion results support the proposed algorithm for image fusion as the output image was qualitatively and quantitatively growth. In the future the proposed method can be updated by increasing the objective function dimensions to two or three for getting a best fused image.
In this research we have prepared a composite material by using Vegetative Cellulose Fibers of Cannabis (Cann F) to reinforced a matrix of Unsaturated Polyester (UP) resin. This kind of fibers is distinguished by good properties such as high tensile strength, low elongation, thermal resistance and low cost. The impact strength was tested by using Charpy method for three materials (UP resin), composite (UP / Cann F) and composite (UP/Glass F). The results indicated that the fracture energy (Uc) decreased as the notch depth (a) increased on the sample from (0.7 mm) up to (4.9 mm). However, the fracture energy increased as the temperature of the composite increased for different temperatures of (0, 35, 50 and 75) oC. It was noticed that the Material toughness (Gc) has been improved significantly, where in case of the composite (UP /Cann F), the improvement of (Gc) was from (2.45 kJ/m2 ) to (14.5 kJ/m2 ) and it was (17 kJ/m2 ) for composite (UP/GF) has been measured at (35) oC. When those composite materials (UP/Cann F) exposed to humidity for a period of (72 hrs) without immersion, their properties did not change, hence the effects are not of chemical but of physical nature. The conclusion, the difference between the toughness of the material (Gc) for the reinforced composites by Cannabis and E-glass fibers for all temperatures is not large, so this encourage the development of Cannabis fiber reinforced composites in the future to abundance, and low cost for industrial investment
Indeed, there are many hydrology variables influence on the operating of dam and reservoir system. Thus, modelling of dam operation is a complicated issue due to the nonlinearity of such hydrological parameters. Hence, the identification of a modern model with a high capacity to cope with the operation of the dam is extremely important. The current research introduced good an optimization algorithm, namely Genetic Algorithm (GA) to find best operation rules. The main aim of the suggested algorithm is to minimize the difference between irrigation demand and water release value. The developed algorithm was applied to find operation rules for Timah Tasoh Dam, Malaysia. This research used significant evaluation indexes to examine the algorithms' performance. The results indicated that the GA method achieved low Vulnerability, high Resilience and Reliability. It has been demonstrated that the GA method will be a promising tool in dealing with the problem of dam operation.
The purposes of planning for housing and solve the housing problem of the most important topics in studies of housing also it is one of the topics broad and complex, and that the planned housing in accordance with the cost and social benefit is the solution to reduce the heights fantasy of the costs of housing. Also its negative effects on the process of housing where most of Iraq's society of the middle class is needed to adequate housing with income, especially if we consider that there is a deficit of housing dramatically in Iraq. Which is estimated at more than three million housing units and offset by a significant decrease in the rates of housing construction, also which are led to the worsening problem of housing in the country, especially those with low income, so it requires the parties responsible speed up the adoption of the strategy to solve the problem of housing in the country adopt the principle of the establishment of residential low-cost through the adoption of residential buildings, multistorey (3-4) stories as characterized by the buildings of the densities of housing appropriate of effective use with economic land and reduce the costs of housing to meet the large deficit and demand residentialdemand. In order to reach the desired goal has been studied and the reality of the housing in Ramadi in the, Ta'meem, 5 km and the 7 km areas and limited the problems of constraints related with planning housing also its components as well as access to some of the experiences of countries in planning, housing and solving the housing crisis within finding the alternatives to some traditional building materials with finding teams cost whenusingthesealternatives. Also supports research field study of three residential compounds, which aims at evaluating the appropriateness of such style housing and how to achieve social benefits and meet the standards of planning and design proposed in the scheme of public housing in Iraq which have been using the method (analysis of cost - benefit) for the trade-off to choose the best alternative of residential complexes three (and low cost, Ta'meem, the 7 km), which achieves less expensive and better utility.
The white cement Kiln dust (WCKD) is a secondary production from the cement industry through its production operation. Environmentally, it is considered as an unwanted waste because it causes air pollution and ground congealment, and it is needed great efforts and financial support to disposal it. In this study, the WCKD was used partially instead of limestone as a filler in the asphalt mix, where it was used by ratios of 0%,25%,50%,75% and 100% from the weight of limestone. An evaluation of the mechanical characteristics was conducted by carrying out Marshall test and Indirect Tensile test, and the results showed that the increase in the WCKD percent reduces the asphalt mix density and increases the percentage of air voids, while the other characteristics (stability, Marshall Stiffness, flow and Indirect Tensile Strength) increase when the WCKD ratio is 25% and 50%. These those characteristics start decreasing when the WCKD ratio was 75% and 100%. The study showed that the optimum ratio of the WCKD is 50% from the limestone weight, and the WCKD cannot be used as a filler entirely in asphalt mix, but it can be used partially.
In this paper, the hydraulic-thermal performance of a double-pipe heat exchanger equipped with 45°-helical ribs is numerically studied. The ribbed double-pipe heat exchanger is modelled using three heights (H = 0, 2.5, 3.75, 5 mm) of 45°-helical ribs. Two numbers (4-ribs and 8-ribs) of 45°-helical ribs are attached on the outer surface of the inner pipe of the counter-flow double-pipe heat exchanger and compared with a smooth double-pipe heat exchanger. Three-Dimensional computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model for a laminar forced annular flow is performed in order to study the characteristics of pressure drop and convective heat transfer. In addition, the influence of rib geometries and hydraulic flow behaviour on the thermal performance is system-atically considered in the evaluations. The annular cold flow is investigated with the range of Reynolds numbers from 100 to 1000, with three heights of ribs at the same width (W = 2 mm) and inclined angles of (θ = 45°).The results illustrate that the average Nusselt number and pressure drop increase with an in-creasing number of ribs, the height of ribs and Reynold number, while the friction factor decreas-es with increasing Reynolds numbers. The percentage of averaged Nusselt number enhancement for three rib heights (H = 2.5, 3.75 and 5 mm) at 4-ribs is (34%, 65% and 71%), respectively, While for 8-ribs the enhancement percentage is (48%, 87% and 133%) as compared with the smooth double-pipe heat exchanger at Re = 100. The best performance evaluation criteria of (PEC) at (8-ribs, and H = 5 mm) is 2.8 at Re = 750. The attached 45-helical ribs in the annulus path can generate kind of secondary flows, which enhance the fluid mixing operation between the hot surface of the annular gap and the cold fluid in the mid of the annulus, which lead to a high-temperature distribution. Increasing the height of 45°-helical ribs lead to an increase in the sur-face area subjecting to convective heat transfer.

The quality of the built environment could highly impact our state of wellbeing, by affecting our stress and exposure within the building environment. Scientific studies linked stress to depression, diabetes, obesity, and cardiac disease. Hospitals considered as stressful places due to their inconvenient experiences. The theory of Salutogenic design aims to reduce stress through the implementation of an interdisciplinary design study to enhance the sense of coherence ( SOC) for any individual to be able to adapt himself to the overall life challenges. Salutogenic defines several factors which can affect an individual’s state of well-being in any space. This research limited on two of these design factors (daylight, colour) within three selected hospital through a critical methodology using a sample questionnaire of 15 questions headed to 90 from all three hospitals. the second part of the methodology using a Light-meter device for calculating the amount of Lux in actual hospital conditions, the third part of research methodology is a simulation program (Ecotect) to have an adequate daylight calculation in the wards of all three hospitals as well as the lighting distribution with (daylight factor) to evaluate the efficiency of wards in Erbil city. The last part of the study is by a field investigation by the researcher for the implementation of Salutogenic Colours. through a critical methodology approach. The research results shows that wards of three hospitals has a poor natural daylight to penetrate the building, and hospitals depends mainly on artificial light which causes uncomfortability and inconsitnecy in treatment process. Patients prefrences are twords new colours such as turquoise, palepink, and blue rather than the tradtional colours used in Erbil governmental hospitals. using light meter as assessment tool to compare between the Ecotec Lux measurement and the actual condition of lighting in hospital. The evaluation of three Wards within hospitals shows clearly the un sufficiency of natural lighting which leads to needing of artificial daylight. And might delay the process of recovery. Ecotect calculates the most suitable design condition in any city and finds other suitable orientations for buildings.
The aim of the present research is studying the efficiency and performance of Mosul Dam with respect of the seepage. It was depended on the dam field observations of years 2004, 2003 and 1990. These observations included a discharge measurements and chemical analysis of seepage water from three points at the downstream left side of the dam, and the chemical analysis of reservoir water. Also, the ground water levels of grouting gallery piezometers and opening piezometers at the downstream right side were measured. All these field observations were taken with every water level of the dam reservoir. The results concluded that the dam embankments being a good efficiency with respect the seepage, however, the efficiency of the dam foundation, which presented by the grout curtain, is in a good condition in most regions, except the region limited between section (68) and (70), where the efficiency of this region is equal to (19.5%), (23.07%) and (25.55%) in years 2004, 2003 and 1990 respectively. Also, the results indicated that some sections of the grout curtain , such as section (79), being with not agreeable efficiency in 1990, where Is equal to (45.97%). But according to a continuous and intensive grouting, the efficiency of this section increased and become (73.74%) and (73%) in 2003 and 2004 respectively
Traffic accidents and traffic delay have a negative impact on the mobility traffic flow due to their huge costs on the transport system. Thus one of the main primary aims for transport policy makers are reducing the negative effect of traffic accidents and traffic delay on the road network. In this study, fixed and random parameters Tobit models have been developed to model the accident rates from 20 intersections in Al-Karakh district in Baghdad City, Iraq. The safety significant of logarithm of annual average daily traffic, the percentage of heavy vehicles and the delay time for both major and minordirections for each intersection on the accident rates were evaluated. The main finding of this study shows that delay has an important effect on traffic accident rates of intersections. Regarding to the effect of other factors on traffic Accident rates, the result of the model shows that the logarithm of annual average daily flow, the percentage of heavy vehicles for both major and minor directions of the intersection are positively associated with more accident rates.

The properties which are covered in this work consist of workability which represented by slump test, and strength represented by compressive strength and ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV) tests. It is obtained that using the two types of Gelnium will improve the slump about (157% to 183%) compared with reference mix .The concrete cured at medium hot weather condition, show improves in compressive about (19.2 to38.12%) at 3 days age. The use Glenium type 51 is to be more suitable for normal concrete works in medium hot weather .
This research focuses on studying the impact of different sources of wastewater, such as do-mestic, industrial, agricultural, etc. upon groundwater. The swamp of contaminated water collec-tion within the Al-Anbar University area was taken as a case study for this research. This swamp has a pond that works as a collection basin for different sources of wastewater mainly domestic waste coming from leakage of contaminated water from the septic-tank of the residential com-plex of students. This contaminated water will leak over time within the folds of soil due to per-meability and the effect of land attraction and reach the levels of groundwater. The presence of polluted water near groundwater is an environmental hazard and harmful because this leakage water has different diseases and germs, which could pose a danger to human health. Different samples of these sources were taken from different places at different times and some physical, chemical, and biological tests were then conducted. Wastewaters characterization was also investigated in this study to make an assessment for water quality and find out a proper treatment method. Data obtained from this study show different levels of pollutants, which could highly affect groundwater quality. A proper and advanced treatment method was also proposed in this study, depending on the wastewater characterization results. The purpose of this research is wastewater treatment using the physical method with coagulation and Flocculation processes with local coagulants to reduce pollutants impact on groundwater. The results showed the addi-tion of alum at 35 mg/l increased the removal efficiency by 80.7% at the settling time of 60 min, and the addition of 35 mg/l of the lime increased the removal efficiency by 63.9% at the same settling time.It has been proven that the use of alum is more effective than lime for sedimenta-tion suspended matter. The optimum dosage and settling time are 20 mg/l and 60 min respec-tively.
This work presents a compact reconfigurable antenna based on fractal geometry. The investigation discusses the challenges of lower antenna gain and bandwidth, critical for efficient data propagation in 5G systems, particularly for low-profile devices. Its goal is to develop a small, multiband antenna capable of operating in all current and future 5G bands and improve bandwidth and gain for mm-wave and sub-6 GHz applications. The proposed design covers the sub-6 band (2.8, 3.9, 4, 6.2) GHz and the mm-wave band (24.4, 27.1, 28.5, 29.3, 30.6, 33.9, 34.6, 35.2, 38.8, 44.4, 45.1, 59.7, 61.5, 62.3, 65.2, 67.4 and 69.5) GHz with S11 less than -10 dB. A maximum gain of 12.8 dB and a radiation efficiency of 94% are achieved. A partial ground plane with a 50 Ω feed line is used in this design. The antenna is printed on a Roger RT 5880 substrate with a relative dielectric constant 2.2 with a total dimension of 35×32.5×0.8 mm³. The proposed design is simulated using CST software, ensuring accurate calculations and performance evaluation.
Hilla cities center of province Babil is one of the most important cities in Iraq 100 km (62 mi) south of Baghdad .its relate the Governorate Baghdad with Governorates south Al-Thawra signalized intersection is one of the most important intersections in AL-Hilla city Being a major crossing point to the governorates of holy Karbala and Baghdad. The excessive traffic volumes, during the peak periods (at morning and evening), of vehicles that entering the intersection increase traffic density, reduce travel speed, increase travel time, and increase the delay values This paper aims to assess the traffic performance of Al-thawra signalized intersection in Babil city that is consistent with the existing conditions and intersection's geometric properties. For all approaches, video recording has been used to collect traffic volume data. These data are taken out of videos from Babil police cameras (department of communications and information systems)..The intersection was evaluated and analyzed using the SYNCHRO 10.0 software, and the best option was selected. The outcome of the evaluation process indicated that the intersection is operated at the level of service (LOS F) and with a control delay of 162.5 seconds.by recommending a variety of strategies, ranging from signal optimization to geometric enhancements. The suggestion of widening the pavement in the north-south direction was found to be the best solution. resulting in a decrease in vehicle delays from 162.2 seconds to 95.4 seconds and the level of service remains constant (LOS F) considered an acceptable and cost-effective solution to the intersection's problems.
This paper contributes to the field of improving the performance of heat exchangers using metal foam (MF) full-filled and partially/periodically-filled within the gap between the two pipes. The effect of configuration and arrangement of copper MF (15PPI and porosity of 0.95) installed on the outer surface of the inner pipe of a counter-flow double-pipe heat exchanger on the thermal and hydraulic performance was studied experimentally. The test section consisted of concentric two pipes; the inner pipe which was made of copper while the outer pipe was a Polyvinyl chlo-ride. Air was used as a working fluid in both hot and cold sides. A wide cold air flow rate range was covered from 3 to 36 m3/h which corresponds to Reynolds number (Re) range from 2811 to 31,335. The hot air flow rate was kept constant at 3m3/h. The temperature difference (ΔT) be-tween the inlet hot air and inlet cold air was adopted to be (20°C, 30°C, 40°C, and 50°C). The re-sults revealed that the higher Nusselt number (Nu) was at ΔT= 50°C and the thermal performance of the heat exchanger with the MF for all the arrangements was greater than the smooth heat exchanger. The highest and lowest friction factor was 1.033 and 0.0833 for the case 1 and 8, re-spectively, and the optimal performance evaluation criteria (PEC) was 1.62 for case 7 at Re = 2800. The Nu would be increased with a moderate increase in the friction factor by optimizing the arrangement of the MF. The two essential parameters that played an important role for in-creasing the PEC were the MF diameter and the MF arrangement along the axial length of the cold air stream.
In a Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET), routing protocols rely on asymmetric links so the received information for one connection is not useful at all for the other one. In this paper there are two approaches put under considerations; the first approach is a simulation of MANET with many nodes in one network based FTP traffic. The second approach is a simulation of the combination between WiFi and WiMax wireless technologies in one network based on the IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.16 standards respectively. For these two approaches, the simulation considers the situation that the MANET receives traffic from another network via a common gateway. In addition, the mobile nodes are randomly placed in the network that will provide the possibility of multihop routes from a node to another. The standard MANET’s routing protocol is Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing (AODV), whose performance is evaluated in this work with respect to routing overhead, throughput and end-to-end delay. Several scenarios' simulations using WLAN technology were tested to investigate the behavior of the network performance for logical and office applications with fixed and mobile workstations. These networks are considered to operate on a single-hop or multi-hop basis where nodes in the network are able to act as intermediaries (routers) for communications of other nodes. Nodes in these networks are forced to operate with power limited batteries for power saving goal as well as the bandwidth constrained is considered.
